Cecchi Chianti DOCG 2008

Cecchi Chianti DOCG 2008
Cecchi Chianti DOCG 2008

And in a wine blog you could not leave out the Chianti, the most frequently named wine from Tuscany and I must admit that it is a great wine.

But I don’t  want to talk about one of those for special occasions, but about one Chianti for all days: Cecchi Chianti DOCG 2008.

Immediately turn away the idea that being the Chianti DOCG 2008 Checchi a wine for every day is a mediocre wine , wines that you will find on my blog will always have an above average quality .

And it’s a DOCG wine produced in the hills of Chianti from a company active since 1893 , there seems enpugh?

Uncorked and decanted immediately gives off its characteristic scent of fruits and red grapes .

Beautiful ruby red color , darker than most of the standard.

On the palate, all according to expectations , a soft harmonious and balanced wine that does not cover the flavor but enhances them .

Skip nonchalantly from pairing white meat to red spicy grilled meat to medium-aged cheeses , not to mention salami and the pasta dishes.

What can I say more? It ‘ not a table wine for meditation, but for drinking in friendship in large tables . And never having alcohol before driving , remember it’s 13,5%.
