This evening was an Banfi Evening. No, I’m not looking to Movies of the legendary Lino, but with the meat that is cooking on the grill I chose to uncork a Castello Banfi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG.
This Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Castello Banfi in 2005 vintage is a real best-seller in his category , is found in almost all supermarkets of large retailers , at a price affordable even if depending on the year . ( We’ll talk about later ) .
Too late . I uncorked late to drink and I had to ” decant ” in decanter.
Too bad because I prefer to decant the wine of course leaving the bottle open even 2 hours for a wine like that.
However, being structured and not too old (6 years for a Brunello is close to the minimum capacity of 5 years) , Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2005 Castello Banfi enjoyed this treatment.
