I would not bet much on Darguner Bock Beer 8.5 Special Label bought in a supermarket, but it’s pleasant taste and for what it costs it’s really worth trying. I did it for you, let’s read it on MoreWineBeer
I try to be cool and as advertisers says , I have a mission to accomplish and you know my mission is to find products that cost little but take pleasure in drinking it , so it was with the Darguner Bock 8.5 Special Label beer.
It was January 28 2011 when I wrote my first article in Italian on FoodWineBeer.it but now It’s time to try with english , I’m sorry for the poor quality of my grammar.
But let’s speak about beer , and let’s speak about how can a beer as the Darguner 8.5 Special Bock sold in less than a euro for 50 cl. face with Belgian beers and some craft beers too?
Well of course it can not , but it’s not bad and for that low price I want to promote it.
A bock of an intense golden yellow color and slightly hazy with a white foam soft enough and plentiful, medium persistence : this is his business card.
Does not have much fragrance you have to admit , it feels malt and some hot alcohol, yet not disturbing .
Bite to drink, almost cloying in the Darguner Bock 8.5 Special Label Beer , among the ingredients also has glucose syrup and this is reflected in a caramelized taste at the beginning, malty and fruity in the middle and then the final blow between the alcohol and the hops reaches the right balance.
All this combined with a watery body makes enough drinkable but with taste and suitable in combination with soups, pasta and chickpeas or soup that I ate this evening mixed with beans and chicken sausage . Even the pork shank with potatoes is not a wrong approach .
Serve at 6 degrees, also by 8 , has 8.5 degrees but looks less and a pitcher is his death .
