For someone like me , a simple blogger, it is difficult to speak of a product such as the Ca del Bosco Cuvée Prestige Brut , because I’m just a wine lover, not a connoisseur while he’s “Franciacorta”, among the most popular and acclaimed. So if I talk good or bad, it will not change the opinion of many. But it is not my intention to talk badly about it because it is great, and I will not even praise it because of all the fans, I want to describe as it is.

 

How about Ca ‘ del Bosco ? Soon the people around you begin to say ” yes it’s good”, ” very good” and maybe they have not even been drinking it but know him by reputation , and until a couple of days ago I had never drunk too , but at a dinner of fish on the menu I found a Ca ‘ del Bosco Cuvée prestige Brut , fresh fresh and also at an affordable price.

Arrives at the table in his elegant packaging with cellophane of a transparent orange, a veil that creates an effect I see – I do not see nearly exciting ;-).

Uncorked with a bang , served at 12 degrees and poured into the right glass ( not too tight) the Ca del Bosco Cuvée Prestige Brut showcases a textbook perlage with abundant and intense but subtle bubbles , forming an evanescent foam , which immediately leaves a glimpse of it’s beautiful golden yellow color .

And I must say that the color you see from the bottle too , nice idea to use the transparent glass , does justice to the product.

We come now to the olfactory sensations , yeasts are there and respond to the first call , leaving only secondarily space with delicate and fresh notes of fruit and citrus .

Then comes the moment of tasting , Ca ‘ del Bosco Brut Cuvée Prestige is dry, brut in the true sense of the word, tickles the palate and slips away to a lingering finish with all the typical characteristics of Franciacorta DOCG , arising from Chardonnay .

It’s Character being elegant , dry and delicate could mislead many to think that it is almost too sensitive , but in fact in my opinion the masters who handle the various vintages of fine wines to mix the grapes coming from the new harvest , voluntarily do this to make the ‘ ideal accompaniment to appetizers and meals of fish where especially in the case of frying, it is really appreciated its ability to cleanse the palate and leave your mouth feeling fresh one .
